Two people have touched my heart with their efforts in the area of Pomeranian breed rescue. First, there is my personal hero, Elaine Harris. Her drive for breed rescue consumes her life. At the drop of a hat, she loads her van with crates and blankets to rescue not only Pomeranians, but any small breed in need of help and comfort. These rescued animals often need expensive lifesaving procedures, which she often pays with her own money.
